St.Philomena High School was established in the year 2000 with Nursery, Primary and High School aiming to provide quality education. The passage of time has resulted in the school emerging as one of the premier educational institutions in this educational district. It provides admissions to the students from all strata of the society. It does not discriminate the degree of learning ability of the students. It always understands the special need and attention to help the 'slow-bloomers'. The school also believes that if a child is educated with wisdom, the nation would definitely be an abode of God.
The main priority of any teacher is to ensure that their students succeed. A student’s success can be measured in many ways; by receiving good grades, how much they are involved in class, or even how well they have improved.
The right to education is not only the right to access education but also the right to receive an education of good quality. Education must be available and accessible but also acceptable and adaptable.
Each classroom will have their own procedures and rules due to age differences and the requirements of individual supervisors. They will also have their own system of rewards and incentives. Students and parents will be made aware of these by the teacher.

Education should be imparted with a view to the type of society that we wish to build. We are working for a modern democracy built on the values of human dignity and quality. These are only ideals : we should make them living forces. Our vision of the future should include these great principles.
Childrens are like buds in a garden and should be carefully and loveingly nurtured, as they are the future of the nation and the citizens of tomorrow.
